I will be so devastated tomorrow :((
Good night everyone! I have been waiting for tomorrow for months and I can’t believe the day has finally come. Good luck! AAAHHHH I’m so nervous!!!
waiting for results like
His palms are spaghetti,
Knees weak, arms are spaghetti,
There’s vomit on his sweater already,
Spaghetti spaghetti,
He’s nervous, but on the surface he looks ermehgerd,
He keeps on forgetting, what he wrote down,
It’s finals week. Exams be killing him now,
The clocks run out, times up over, blaow!
Goodluck to everyone and I wish you all the best. Please remember that if you got rejected, it is not the end of the world! Hope to see you in the video for Prerade 2017. Go Tigers!
Hi guys…
D-Day!..Before we get our decisions, of which sadly 82% will be negative, I just wanted to remind you of the actual insignificance of them…think of it this way, for every one successful Princeton applicant, there are about twenty others in his position or higher who went to “lesser” schools…let today not define you rather let your will and determination determine what your decision will mean, for even a rejection can be a source of encouragement in the right hands…
Best of luck Class of 2021 applicants.
Good luck everyone! It’s been such a pleasure getting to know you all, and stressing with you all… and though I know it’s cheesy, you CAN end up happy wherever you go.
I had a Harvard interview last night (perfect timing right?) and my interviewer’s enthusiasm about his school almost made me regret not applying there SCEA! The point being, most people seem to love their alma mater, and I’m sure that we will too. Also, for those of us applying to schools of this tier, we can do great things at any of them if we make the most of the opportunities given to us.
Don’t get me wrong-- I’m in love with Princeton and will be crying at school no matter what my decision is. But try to keep the fact that there are alternative pathways to a successful life in the back of your mind throughout the day today, in case things don’t go so well.
I’ll see you on the other side
Best of luck everyone.
I’m truly rooting for each and every one of you.
I know that no matter what the decision is, today is a turning point for all of us, and that is out of our control. But what we can control, is the direction this outcome will take us in.
I hope you choose to reach higher!
Hey guys, I just found this thread, Good luck!
Maybe we’ll get to meet over in Princeton, but if we don’t, good continuation for every one of you!
Virtual {{{hugs}}} to each of you waiting for a decision from Princeton.
When you attempt to access the portal, you may be placed in a waiting queue, during which time an orange bar moves across the screen from left to right. When it’s your turn to view your decision, the log-in window will pop up, so you do have a moment to compose yourself. If you are accepted, you will see an orange silhouette of a tiger in profile at the top of the letter! (This is how it worked two years ago when my daughter was admitted.)
Please do not let your sense of self-worth become tied up in college admissions decisions. You are so much more than that. Really.
Best wishes to all,
NJMom97
Few more hours
May the force be with you.
Thank you @gmanhax for all the support and helpful information, and to @currypotato for making me hungry + for the remixes and to everyone else for the kind words really cool getting to know you all! Good luck!
Good luck everybody! I’m going to be so emotional no matter what happens but I hope all of you get good news and I know you’ll all do amazing things in the future
Best of luck everyone! It was really good hearing from all of you. May the mass x acceleration be with you.
why hasn’t the portal changed? I read that last year the checklist disappeared, not the case this year.
MODERATOR’S NOTE:
You should assume that there are no tea leaves to be read by attempting to log into the portal. You will find out at whatever time P releases its decisions; there is no back door. Good luck.
Okaaaaaaaaaay then
5 hours and 18 minutes, i said i wouldnt hype myself up but 3 o’clock can’t come soon enough
Good luck everyone! Truly, it has been a phenomenal journey. From falling in love with Princeton to working hard and polishing our applications to worrying about practically everything we could have on CollegeConfidential to offering support to people on this thread and receiving some when it was direly needed to actually submitting our applications, I feel we’ve really bonded as a community.
That being said, no matter what the contents of our decision notifications, these are the last few hours that we have as Princeton SCEA hopefuls. After 3.00 pm our paths may diverge, and we may be Princetonians, but we won’t be SCEA applicants anymore and this journey will be at its end. And I’m proud to have been part of this community and will cherish this journey for a long long time to come :’)
And remember, we will end up doing amazing things, regardless of Princeton’s decision!
(I read something extremely similar to this on last year’s SCEA thread and it just struck a chord with me, so I thought I should post something which echoed the sentiment on this thread!)
Echoing @icarus29 's words, pleasure to be with you. Some of us will make it all the way, others will make it somewhere else, because even if it’s not at Princeton, we will all succeed some place Bueno suerte
I have callbacks for a play at 3 and won’t be checking until after that, but best of luck to all of you and if we all get in (though unlikely) we can totally squad up in NJ:-)
