My son was rejected, after being deferred. Waitlisted at UPenn.
Congrats to everyone that was accepted today!
Rejected.
i got in omg
S accepted. For those who were wondering about the possible correlation between receiving the PFAA letter (we received it on Feb. 28, I believe) and the result, there is the correlation for us. There also is the correlation between the snail mail from UPenn’s FA office that we received (in mid-March?) and the result.
Rejected :((
Accepted!!! Seeing the tiger was awesome
ACCEPTED…1300 SAT + international, Admissions are genuinely holistic!
Son was accepted, rejected at all the other ivies. My Dad also went to PU, as did I, and I’ve taught there. Still, he was no slouch – 1530 SAT 4.0 GPA, award winning writer and actor, public school kid. Maybe the other ivies saw the tiger marks on him. Anyway thank you Princeton helping keep this vital part of our family history alive.
@nikuedu Congrats!
I’m been having trouble the whole day trying to log into my portal. I forgot my password, but haven’t received an email to reset it yet and I tried multiple times does anybody else have the same problem?
@DryMango congrats. I believe it is your school’s first ever, right?
@psywar no, but it is very kind of you to remember me! you replied to my thread about geographical diversity, and not only did your advice ease my worries, it came true! Last year, 2/2 students were admitted from my school (first ever). I was worried that this would negatively affect my admission decision. As it turns out, you were right…it did not!
@DryMango so… you are going to Princeton over Yale, right?
Congrats to all accepted!
For those that were rejected or waitlisted, just know you will thrive wherever you go.

It seems that with your qualifications and some others I’ve read, there is no justice in this process. Sorry you were rejected. Princeton’s loss indeed.
D accepted! I echo TiggerDad regarding PFAA letter. There is also a correlation for us. Also for Penn and Cornell.
