Waitlisted… Anyone else?
I was waitlisted too
and received a PFAA email in mid march…
how many people do they take off the wait list?
A question: Princeton seems to pick students from waitlist during June when students have allready committed to other universities? Isn’t this a problem?
Im still in shock … i was admitted to six of the 8 ivy leagues… i got into Princeton Yale Dartmouth Upenn Columbia Brown (PLME). im like in tears
I got waitlisted! Honesly this is so much better than I expected haha. I was also waitlisted at Harvard and accepted to Brown PLME!

Waitlisted and I received too many emails from financial aid but never completed it probs why
My son got accepted, but truthfully I think many, many schools offer an amazing education if you keep your eyes open to every school’s educational strengths. My husband went to ND and still is so proud and grateful for the education he received. Best of luck!!

Cannot believe my luck, I’m an international student from the UK who got rejected literally everywhere else except for Princeton!

I’m from a low income family so this is beyond belief and I can’t stop screaming right now.
Received those missing pfaa emails and was rejected. Congrats to those that got in!! Well deserved.
I got rejected, but I’m not so worried because my essay sucked and I got accepted to Yale and Dartmouth

Rejected, was expecting it, but got Columbia which has been my dream school forever so I’m happy Congrats to everyone who got in! Life goes on, and as my counsellor likes to say, “the college admissions process is a crapshoot.” You’re all amazing students and I’m sure you’ll succeed in whatever you want to do!

@purplepiano That very low acceptance rate is because Princeton continues to accept many students EA. This results in fewer spots for RD and what appears to be a very low rate. You should also note that all the Ivies are attracting thousands of applications because they are on the Common App and it is easy to apply. Add the fact that they practice ‘holistic’ admissions, and many candidates are applying in the hope that their essays and ECs will get them in.
