@azwu331 Thank you for that. You have no idea how much your post gave me a bit more peace of mind. I have no words except to really just say you are such a fantastic writer and even more so, seem like an astounding human being. You have been paramount to the supportive, kind vibe of this thread. And I wish the stars for you and every other applicant on here. Like you said, here’s to our last night as Princeton SCEA hopefuls! It’s been a great run so far, and tomorrow is not indicative of all that we are and hope to be.
I’m signing off for the night to finish up some studying. I’ll see you guys hopefully tomorrow around 3. Have a restful evening and let’s all try to get at least some sleep in the midst of all the butterflies. ~:>
Tomorrow I’ll be staying after school and probably painting or participating in a club gift exchange and borrowing a friend’s phone to check since I don’t have one… Argh!!! I was just accepted to my state school today (my first and only acceptance so far!) so at least I have somewhere to go. Yay but not really? ~:>
you guys are just so genuine and nice T.T whatever happens tomorrow, I think I’ll be happy just by the fact that I got to know you guys this past month… Good luck everyone and let’s not forget the chicken!! ~:>
Apparently, I’m the only person that has never heard of fly-out programs. Hope that doesn’t hurt my son’s chances at the colleges he’s applying to that aren’t in-state. Virtual tours were all we were able to afford for OOS schools. None of the colleges he looked at mentioned them and it got to the point where we had to stop looking because there are too many and college match sites don’t allow searches for his needs. ~:>
@azwu331 Wow that post was amazing! It really helped calm my nerves. You are such an amazing writer and if you don’t get accepted to Princeton then it’s their loss. Also I couldn’t help but notice that your last post was your 331st post and the number in your username is 331.
I really hope a lot of CC people are accepted and if I’m rejected then I will be glad that I at least tried to get in and gave it a shot. If I’m deferred at least I have another chance to get in. If I’m accepted then I will want to start a group text with everyone else that is accepted on CC! I’m just praying and hoping for the best tomorrow and hopefully the Tiger will pop up on my screen so that I can call myself a Tiger too. Tomorrow basically determines how my winter break is going to be. I will either be celebrating and withdrawing the RD applications I sent or working hard to get all of my RD applications done because I wasn’t accepted.
Good luck guys! We have almost 19 hours more of anxiously waiting until we know our outcome. ~:> ~:>
It has truly been a blessing in getting to know all of you. The clock is ticking and I’m excited and nervous. Good luck to each and everyone of you hopefuls out there!
I gotta go take my AP Stats exam now. Wish me luck. haha ~:>
do you guys think that when we immediately log on it will say our admission result? like the moment you click sign in it will have the decision right there
@DonkeyKong466 From what I’ve seen of other school’s admissions portals, there will probably be a link saying something along the lines of “Click here to view your admissions decision.”
@azwu331 you made another one tear up. Man I want to know you all… I’m in for starting a chat after tomorrow (whatever our decisions are)… I hate the idea of this great, unified group dividing into different categories tomorrow. In my heart, we will always be one big group, the SCEA applicants of 2020. And WE ROCK and have made it so far!!! Have a good night everyone from ur chicken mama morrisk. see yall on the other side - ~:>
Somewhere out there in the vast nothingness of space
Somewhere far away in space and time
Staring upwards at the gleaming stars in the obsidian sky
We’re marooned on a small island,
In an endless sea,
Confined to a tiny spit of sand,
Unable to escape
But tonight, on this small planet
On Earth, we’re going to rock civilization
Slam- by Pendulum
(I’m shaking and idk how I’m going to get through school tommorow, but no matter what happens tomorrow, we are all Princeton SCEA 2020 hopefuls tonight, the cream of the crop, the best of what our schools have to offer, so let’s take solace in that and rejoice!!
