I got deferred As I have been reading online, I have heard that there are “good” and “bad” deferral letters. Does anyone know if this is true of Princeton? If so, please lmk which is which

To those that got accepted you should be so proud of yourselves. It is such a great accomplishment. For those deferred although disappointing you still have a chance to get into one of the best colleges in the world.

And quite frankly if even rejected or if you are ultimately rejected you are all awesome students who will get into amazing schools and change the world…

@ripmycollegeapp if you were accepted, the page should have had a link to the admitted students website. On that website, there is a link to a private Facebook group run by the Undergraduate Student Government.

Deferred. Reading back over my essays I think they were the deciding factor(along with lack of awards, but my school has literally no awards or competitions) considering I have near perfect gpa and test scores, and imo impressive ec’s :frowning: Well I guess I’m going to do a math research project and send them it to up my chances RD.

Gonna rewrite my essays for my other apps.
