Princeton's Word Association Game

“As if!” edit: this was to lenni’s cluelessness

*Sidenote: you know in Clueless when Cher is sitting in the backseat while her stepbrother drives home his smart girlfriend and his girlfriend quotes Hamlet, saying “to thine oneself be true” or something? And then Cher says “no, Hamlet didn’t say that” and the girlfriend says “I think I remember Hamlet accurately” and Cher says “I think I remember Mel Gibson accurately, and he didn’t say that. That Polonius guy did.”

ANYWAY, long story, but on my English final that quote was there (and I hadn’t yet finished Hamlet), but I remembered that scene and got it right.

Which just goes to show that movies like Clueless really do assist in intellectual pursuits.

hahaha i never finished hamlet either but the questions on it were easy enough. now pride and prejudice, that was something horrendous.

to groenvald: je ne t’aime plus, mon amour (lyrics from a song by manu chao)
