<p>yep, he found out today he was accepted off the SCS waiting list. but i’m thinking maybe those who have already been accepted to CMU hear back earlier than others?</p>
<p>oh wow, lucky him. yeah, perhaps that could be the case. i HOPE that is the case! but, it sounds unfair, as usual: the rich get richer and the poor get poorer!</p>
<p>I am on the waitlist for hss and i got an email asking if i still want to be on the priority waitlist , ofcourse i said yes, and we get notified tomorrow! Is anyone else panicking??? well in any case i will be sure to update the site after my phone call tomorrow! I hope that you all will do the same! Good Luck!</p>

<p>"As May 1st has come and gone, we wanted to touch base with you about the
Carnegie Mellon priority waiting list for the Mellon College of Science.</p>
<p>You have selected to remain active on this waiting list. It appears that
there may be only a very small number of openings making admission from this
waiting list very competitive."</p>

<p>I called the admissions office yesterday, and told her that I had not received the e-mail that many of you’ll have ( Im priority waitlist for Tepper and HSS)…and asked her whether not receiving the e-mail means a rejection. and she replied saying “not at all”. Now im inclined to believe her, since Im hoping to get accepted to any of the two…but it could also possibly be you know…a policy not to disclose decisions. what do you people think ?</p>
<p>Don’t read too much into little things like these e-mails. I don’t think they’d take the time to send select people an e-mail, maybe there was a glitch, or they forgot to e-mail you by mistake. </p>
<p>Anyway, don’t stress yourself out over little things like this. It’s all out of your hands, so just go with the flow :)</p>

<p>Just got a call. No SCS priority spots available. Was asked whether I wanted to remain on the regular waitlist with a June 1st notification.</p>
