We purchased the new 2017 Toyota Prius Prime last September for my wife so have owned it about 6.5 months… She drives it short distances around town and occasionally slightly further. Besides the fill-up from the dealer we are literally still on our first tank of gas. Overall, combining electric and gas mode we are getting 170 MPG. I splurged and got the Advanced model. We have not used the self- park feature yet but the cross traffic feature saved me from an accident very recently. We love the car and I was able to get an invoice deal on it purchasing it before the new 2018s arrived.
