<p>PINYU (NYU Poly) shows up well in Payscale ROI rankings because it is almost exclusively engineering majors. Most of the schools that show up at the top of those lists are engineering heavy and/or are targeted by high paying investment banks or elite consulting companies.</p>
<p>However, other than the investment banks and elite consulting companies, post-graduation pay and ROI depend a lot more on your major than your school. I.e. engineering majors from any school (including Rutgers) most of the time (however, economic or industry downturns can hurt if you graduate then) will have better post-graduation pay prospects than most other majors.</p>
