problem, need advice

I’m glad they are responsive and seem willing to help. My DD has had a very good experience with advisors, from orientation through declaring her major (when she got an advisor in her dept). Going into Spring semester registration during that first year, she took it upon herself to be very organized when going in to meet with her advisor before registering for the next semester (e.g., breadth requirements, major/minor classes, etc). UD gives the students the tools but, based on what the advisor has said to DD, not every student takes advantage of them. socaldad, I’m sure your DD will be one who does!
