<p>man…i applied to 14 schools…now im thinking im going to get into like 5 of them…3 being safeties, 1 being uchicago…so i have to choose whatever the 5th one is.</p>

<p>So while I’ve said about a million times I’m done caring about school, I’m done caring about college now too. I realized today I’m not getting into Penn. And while you can say “you have a chance! don’t say that!” all you’d like, I’ll smile in response, appreciate the sentiment and not believe you.</p>
<p>I just read one of my teacher recs today and its full of grammatical mistakes and simple (i.e. 10 year old writing style) sentances. My counselor rec is full of exclamation marks (professional, I know). My stats were already sub-par to begin with and even my own mother thinks I don’t have a shot.</p>
<p>Penn was the only school I was passionate about, so now, quite frankly, I don’t give a damn.</p>

<p>Eckie, it ain’t over till it’s over. No point in getting urself worried. I had alot of doubts too, but you just have to think u tried ur best. Don’t think Penn’s judging u personally, they’re looking at scores on a ■■■■■■■■ test (SAT) and ur academics, but there is so much more to every1 that colleges don’t look at. Penn is great but u’ll be happy wherever u go…and an Ivy League education isn’t everything. Ask ur parents, they rose to the top w/o a college degree…Penn doesn’t make you Eckie, you and ur silly hat do!</p>
