Professor posted plagiarist names in his blog (and was fired by his university)

<p>Yes, the problem is that the professor broke the law.</p>

<p>What the students did definitely was wrong, and they deserved to fail the course and possibly even to be suspended from school. The professor, however, was wrong in revealing what they did to the public.</p>

<p>Plagiarism is such an emergency.</p>

<p>Plagiarisers have a need to be ****ing pwnt.</p>

<p>He did not state their marks or grades. He simply stated those who plagarized. It’s the same as stating who got first for sprinting the 100m in high school PE class. Except this time the students are shamed. </p>

<p>Secondly, the administrators did read his syllabus and approved it. </p>

<p>Third, if he did in fact break the law then was he tried by any legal system? If so, was he found guilty? Only the university claimed that he broke the law.</p>

<p>I hadn’t ever heard about this kind of situation: 2 people pointing the finger at each other and claiming that the OTHER person is the plagarist and they were the original author. </p>
