she is not attractive…u people need lives

and eyeglasses

i dont believe the research at all…which 17 year old kid is doing research like that…no way…she must have super connections…and is buying her way through…don’t believe a word of it…also why hasn’t she taken any ap science courses if she is that good…jeez… you people are gullible…its called the new york city school system…and she knows how to work it…plain and simple…DEBUNKING THE MYTH RIGHT HERE!!!

hopefully…princeton will be smart enough to see through this

http://www.jackpo.org/...check out this website…it talks about what a hoax this article is and how these kids are basically lying their way into college…also…i am sure they are working with the ivywise consultant in the article…otherwise they probably would not be in there…if we are going to analyze this…lets use some common sense

OMG this is so weird…i just looked through this thread and i see people joking about matt pincus and he lives in my town!! i went to middle school with him but he went to a private high school. woahhhhh this is strange. btw im not offended or anything im not really friends w/ him anymore

haha that is weird!!
what’s he like in real life?
super? :p

uhh hes MAD BORING!!! i have this joke with one of his friends that I always want to hang out with him…but in reality that would be a dreadful night because he’s a raving liberal, basically a hippy. he’s also really unyielding to other opinions. btw one of his boasted stats was a latin award, which i also received. uhh i wasnt that happy when i got the latin award b/c seriously who cares about latin.

anyway if anyone really wants to meet matt pincus, i could tell him for you… if you’re up for a tree-hugging night.

kanem07…you should post on my new thread…on the hoax of this article

because some of these kids are making stuff up

Just reading through those…
EDIT: EVERYONE’S SAT SCORES ARE AWESOME

Maybe it’s just my area, but I laugh at almost anyone who has under a 2300 and is thinking of HYPSM. I know of two exceptions due to national awards they have gotten, but your average sport + music + club + 4.2 weighted (decently high at my school, there are very few AP/Honors courses available in 10th) student is not going to get in to the top schools. And my condescending view does not come from arrogance, but rather the stats of former students who have gotten in from my school (not to mention CC stats; look at gqunit’s).

So unless the school that these kids attend has some buddy-buddy connection with the colleges, I think that several of those students are going to be disappointed.

lmao whoamg stop right there.
Everyone scratch the SAT remark he made.
Because you don’t want to get people riled up like they have been in the past.
The SAT is a very touchy subject here…hahaha

edit’d :P

It’s just that I have NEVER seen, from my school, someone get into HYPM with under a 2300. I think Stanford took one 22XX, but that person’s GPA was insane.

Uh… if you ever think that your SAT score is bad, remember that the national average is under 1600 out of 2400! …although you have to admit, that statistic does make you lose hope for humanity…

haha nice save.

Not only did you explain yourself.
But you also ended on a flattering note.

Good job =)

oh no!
I missed it =/

i agree, u cant just rule out everyone who doesnt have a perfect score on their SAT- plus i guess the magazine was just looking 4 a wide variety of applicants, making it more realistic and diversified (if thats a word). If they wanted kids w/ perfect scores on their SATs and perfect ec’s then they could have dont that, but they chose not to.

whoamg, what “area” are you from?? it sounds extra harsh

Hai Guys Can We Get Back To The Hot First Girl.

um…an ASIAN from my school got into princeton last year with a 2050…regular decision…no interview

!!
what school do you go to, def890?
and did you expect him to get rejected? (or did he have some amazing ECs, which made you kindof unsure?)
