Programs IN NYC

They wouldn’t care… It is just like taking classes at a local community college, nothing prestigious but colleges may look at that as taking initiative. The truth is, it is a double edged sword… Say you go to Harvard SSP. Thats great, but, those programs are just pay your way. anyone who cares enough about what Ivy league school they attend for summer session so as to make a good enough impression, is able to get into one of those programs. Prestige of the school you go to isn’t important and wont have any negative or positive (for the most part) in the long run.

My favorite thing I have heard is… Taking a course you did really well on in high school at a program like Harvard SSP so you get a good grade with having to do minimal work and it will give you an upper hand at college admissions. Just pick a course you would enjoy and something that you couldn’t do at your school. Because what is the point of spending some 10grand on one of those programs just to take Bio. (I am not accusing of this or saying that is your intentions. I just want to give my little anecdote-- I have been up all night for the past 2 days studying for finals and have only gotten 4 hours of sleep XD)
