<p>Hey, Booklady! I use snopes.com the same way and try to derail the ridiculous mass emails which are circulated every 6 months or so.</p>
<p>Excellent! It’s good to hear of other people doing their bit to stem the tide of nonsense that flows into our inboxes. My friends have now begun sending me these e-mails to vet before passing them on: 99% are at least partly false. People do so want to believe everything they read, though…</p>
