Prom dresses....is this for real?

My D who is 15 discovered something even better…the closet of one of our S’s best friends. The BF has 4 years of accumulated formal dresses (she was quite the social butterfly around town) and loves letting our D borrow anything she wishes. They even wear the same size shoe. She is extremely generous and loves having D come over to try stuff on. Hate to see her leave for college…

Maybe you could offer to store some of her clothes for her…

You’re in the Northeast but there is such a place in downtown Los Angeles with similar price points. Was in this store on a Sunday, at the request of the owner, who was interested in adding tuxedo rentals to his business (and wholesale them from my company). It was as crazy as you describe. You would think they were giving the dresses away for free. If the fire marshall had been making the rounds that day, he/she would not have allowed that many customers to be inside this two story building at the same time. The line to get into the 12-14 dressing rooms, located on second and first floors, was 28 and 15 deep respectively (I counted the number of girls waiting in line). This owner said, although weekends are his busiest, the dressing rooms are full most of the time.
