PROMYS

Hey, I was a second year student, so you can ask me any questions through pm.
well for your questions:

 1. Acceptance is really vague from what I hear. I do know it is very selective, but then again, not many people apply because it is a math camp :stuck_out_tongue:
 2. answering all ten questions is not a guarentee. I know people who’ve answered 6 or seven who got in, while I’ve heard of others who solved all ten but got rejected.
 3. From what I know, it can be beneficial to show that you don’t know, but that you tried. The questions, from my understanding, is just sort of a judging criteria to see if you can get through six whole weeks of nothing but rigorous math.
 4. I don’t really know about grades, but I would say that grades do reflect the student. Overall, I would say not to worry too much about not-so great grades on other subjects
