So I took the PSAT yesterday, and was hoping to sign up for the National Achievement Scholarship program. It said to be considered into the program i had to mark section 14 of the scan tron for entry, but when i took it section 14 was blank saying not to mark it. My question is why this was because i really wanted to join the program. If anyone knows please leave an answer ASAP :x

what did section 14 say? I took the PSAT yesterday as well. Also, are you a sophomore or a junior?

i am a junior. Section 14 said it was intentionally left blank and so not mark

As far as I know, they just use your ethnicity to determine if you’re eligible.

I don’t know what to tell you. Your proctor should have read something about the NMSQT information and told you to check a box. Did he/she do that??

I remember seeing one of the sections saying “Intentionally left blank.” I do not even know why…

They are discontinuing the program
Since when is the PSAT offered in spring? Do you mean the SAT?
There are a few requirements to be eligible for the program. you probably meet them all. http://www.nationalmerit.org/nmsp.php#entryreq
On your form, you probably already marked stuff for ethnicity and status here. I wouldn’t worry about it.
The program will be different in the future, for college students, I believe.
