I still have no idea when I’m getting it.
Sometime in the next two weeks.

Thank God I have an awesome counselor who replied to my e-mail and gave me my score before break. I don’t think our school is giving results until at least next week.

Just got my scores yesterday! 207 64 CR 76 M 67 W. I’m just a sophomore, but I need to practice a lot to be able to reach cutoffs for California. I think it’s decent for not having prepared myself yet.

We still haven’t gotten our scores back yet, but rumors are floating around that the district is handing them out on the 14th. Anyone else not get theirs yet?

? what??? we got ours like a month ago!!!

Just got mine today, actually. Disappointed, but there’s nothing I can do about it. The critical reading section was just awful for me… D:

Sophomore, we got our scores yesterday
CR - 76
M - 76
W - 79
One of my friends got the exact same score, lol.
Also hopefully I can now persuade my mom that there’s no point in coercing me to take SAT classes over the summer

ZestyMustache:
I think you are completely justified in your cause. If your mom still persists have her talk to me.

My D just got hers. 225 in CA.

ZestyMustache: I hate you. Got a 203 sophmore year.
CR - 80
M - 76
W - 79
Missed one question in each section, 235 in Texas as a junior.

I recieved a 184 on the PSAT as a sophomore this year.

CR-60
M-60
W-64

got a 211 as a sophomore… not bad but i’ll have to study for junior year.

Math: 80
Reading: 66
Writing: 65

I got a 185 as a freshman…

Math: 54
Reading: 68
Writing: 63

I definitely have some work to do…

Do you guys think 221 will make cutoff for California?

freshman (last year): 218, don’t remember details
sophomore (this year): 235 (Reading 80, Math 76, Writing 79)

I think I can make the semi-finalist cut-off for my state next year, but my friend told me to make Finalist you have to get a 240… I’m pretty sure that’s not true but just in case, how can I bring my Math and Writing scores up?

Ummm wrong? You write an essay after qualifying for semifinalist and then narrow the people down and pick finalists based on essays.

That’s good news

Everyone does so well on these! I’m definitely going to have to work harder…

And just for curiosity’s sake:

CR: 54
M: 60
WR: 69

183… at least I have one more year.

I know this thread has gotten old, but I wanted to make a point to those counting on improving scores -

I scored 225 sophomore year, and then prepped heavily for this year’s exam, and ended up with a 218 (I should make PA cutoff still). I think it was all just how the test was - friends I talked to had similar patterns happen.
(I ended up with a 2300 on the SAT two weeks later, fwiw)

Just don’t take anything for granted with the CollegeBoard :)

My son receieved an e-mail this weekend with a 201 (CR - 75, Math - 59, Writing - 67). First we heard of the program and not likely to apply due to the time crunch
