PSAT Sat.

@takeitallin

Not totally sure. You’ll be able to order the test and previous ones online for practice.

@takeitallin sorry i dont think he can.

Check here: [PSAT/NMSQT: If You Missed the Test](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>Taking the PSAT/NMSQT – SAT Suite | College Board)

I think their main concern is for juniors who missed it but still want National Merit.

I don’t think you can retake it. There was a girl missing today from my room because of family issues, but she will not be given a chance to make up the PSAT. Tell him to study a lot for next year!

Punctilious, because the man “flouts tradition and holds rules in disdain” or something. Therefore, he is indecorous and NOT punctilious (strictly observing the rules)

hey, was feeling to fact an answer?

was “conciliatory” an answer?

i thought punctilious meant:
punctiliousness: careful attention payed to every small exact detail

[Punctilious | Define Punctilious at Dictionary.com](Punctilious Definition & Meaning | Dictionary.com)

I put feeling to fact.

Thanks for the answers. I don’t think it is a big deal. Roughdraft- thanks for the reference. He can just study and be really ready for next year. We kiddingly told him to try to wait until Sat. PM for the surgery, but he didn’t think he would have lasted that long. Oh well.

ugh…I put indecorous because I didn’t know what punctilious was…

Did anyone get “conciliatory” or remember what question it was for?

indecorous has a negative connotation
Punctilious has a proper connotation
The sentence wanted to describe the guy positively, so punctilious works better.

*edit: positive, not proper

The topic is timely because we are witnessing a key moment in the history of our species. For the first time, more people are living in cities than outside them. Now and into the future, we will be Homo urbanus: the city dweller.

This transition is profound. For one thing, it seems likely to be irreversible, at least under any scenario we would care to witness. For another, it is a manifestation of a relentless trend. It has taken a few millennia for the number of people living in cities to reach 3 billion. It will take only about 50 years to double that number. According to UN projections, cities will absorb nearly all of the growth in the human population over the next three decades. At the beginning of the 20th century, the three most populous cities were London (6.5 million), New York (4.2 million), and Paris (3.3 million). By 2015, Tokyo, Mumbai, and Delhi will top the list with populations between 20 and 37 million residents. But it isn’t only the megacities that fuel the growth in urban populations. The number of urban areas with over 1 million people is expected to grow by over 40% between 2000 and 2015. The vast majority of this growth will be in middle- and low-income countries.

IS THIS THE RIGHT PASSAGE?

The guy looking at David’s painting is conciliatory because, unlike Socrates, he caters to the preference of the majority.

@handicapable the first part is right. but the second one umm no lol

nvm 10char

compassionate…the guys wasn’t caompassionate, he was a kiss up

this is where i found the article:
