@Lamboo I don’t think their is any method. Like I mentioned before. I think they take he high stat kids first. Then everyone else goes into a “pile”. Then they randomly take from that pile until they are done.
@zipbags - thanks!
Be more honest to call it random pile admissions then rolling admissions.

@crazycat220 Not really… Priority Date for FAFSA is March 1. The accepted students handbook says “If you accept your offer of admissions close to or after May 1 deadline, you may be assigned to supplemental housing.” Supplemental housing is where you have 4-8 people in a larger room.
slight correction here – supplemental housing is 6-10 students in bunks beds in an area that has been converted from a commons in a dorm to a holding room until enough students move, drop out, or fail to show that their empty dorm spaces can be taken up by those waiting in supplemental. Most supplemental housing freshmen eventually get a regular room, somewhere. You want your deposit in by mid April; the order deposits are received is the order in which housing assignments are done.
My daughter was admitted today! University Park, pre-med!! Next week she has her honors interview. We were so happy we cried
@joansass Congrats!! Is it me or does it seem like a lot of people are hearing earlier than last year?
I heard of a big batch coming tomorrow, does anyone know if this is true? Getting really nervous because I haven’t found out yet.
@jmats17 Probably pretty likely. I called admissions and they said the last decision before the office closes will be Tuesday, so I am imagining that tomorrow Monday and Tuesday will be a lot. At least I sure hope so. Good luck to you!!
Looking at last years thread…Their definitely seems to be more decisions earlier this year. I know the admissions director retired last year right as applications were coming in. So that may have held up decisions last year.
I was admitted to the College of Education with a major in Childhood and Early Adolescent Education for fall 2016 on December 17. I was a little scared that I was not going to get in, and I’m very thankful that I did!
