Hey guys, I havent gotten my admission decision yet… I applied as a regular decision applicant in the beginning of january, Should I be worried? Ive emailed the admission committee but there has bee no response as such.

If you pay your acceptance fee now, can you still uncommit from Penn State (even though you lose that acceptance fee money) as long as it is before May 1st?

@exoheat11 Okay then yeah I’d be more worried about getting in, first, at this point. Priority deadline was Nov 30, and it just gets more and more competitive after that.
Merit scholarships are not awarded to most students, and if they are, the average amount is like $3k for the year if I remember correctly. So anyone counting on merit to make PSU affordable should not expect that to happen.

Hey guys,
I had got accepted in January, but I think there has been a problem.
I emailed them asking something regarding my admissions.
The guy replied that I have placed on waitlist and told me to check my PSU account. I checked it and I was still accepted. Also I had even received a mail a week earlier regarding the campus meals plan and housing. I haven’t yet accepted the offer.
Can somebody help me?
@“Sheel Patel” That’s pretty weird. I’d call back and be very very clear that what you were told does NOT match what you’re seeing on your account – every piece of information you have points to you being accepted, so could they possibly tell you what the heck is going on?
If the first person you talk to doesn’t give you a straightforward response, ask to talk to their boss or whoever else can clear this up for you.
