-People who do not cover a cough or sneeze.
-People who do not return grocery carts to the corral.
-People who do not mute the keyboard clicks on their phones and iPads.
-People who do not acknowledge an act of kindness such as holding a door or letting them out in traffic.
-People who do not pick up after their dogs.
I’m sure I have more, but those are the ones that immediately came to mind.
People who do not know what blinker lights/turn signals are. Especially in my part of California where there are bad drivers. Too many Masshole drivers in Palo Alto and don’t get me started on Cupertino!
Hearing someone talking to you and turning to respond to the person, then seeing them continue to walk past and realizing they have a bluetooth earpiece and are talking to someone else far, far away.
Children under 15 in restaurants. Any type of restaurant. If I see children in a restaurant, I leave. I have been known to cancel my order and leave when children are seated near us in a restaurant.
People who talk loudly on their cell phones with Bluetooth. At first I think they are schizophrenics talking to themselves or to the air. But I don’t want to hear your conversations!
People who stop at the top of escalators or at the end of the moving sidewalks in the airport. People who stop in doorways. Make up your minds about where you are going, and GO!
People who throw their cigarette butts out the car window.
People who text while driving.
People who think blinker usage is optional.
People who drive those oversized pickup trucks because they tend to be the most aggressive and obnoxious drivers ever. An overload of testosterone on wheels.
People who loudly chew gum.
Neighbors who let their dogs bark incessantly, especially in the wee hours of the morning or who use chainsaws before 9am.
People trying to make a left across two lanes of traffic, that pull out and stop the oncoming traffic and make them sit and wait until they can get an opening on the other side.
Today’s - people who change lanes like they are 17 years old even though they look like they are my age (middle age). In other words - use your gosh darned turned signal and CHECK to make sure the lane is clear before just darting suddenly into the lane. I’m talking to you, MXJKMOM in California ;-). (License plate.) Looks like someone else has already banged into your back bumper, perhaps when you cut them off? Poor Max and Jack would probably like their mom to still be around and not pissing the neighbors off…
When you stop to let someone cross a street and they decide to leisurely stroll. Or groups on teens who go extra slow on purpose. A tough guy move or something.
And I’m not talking about the elderly or someone with an infirmity.
When someone stops to let me cross, I put a skip in my step. Just polite.
People who talk on their cel phones in restaurants, especially those who have their call on speaker phone. Unbelievable! And it doesn’t matter if the restaurant is IHOP, I still don’t want to listen to the tin-ey voice of whoever you are talking with.
Vulgar language, spitting, crazy driving, rude treatment of service people, blocking one’s route, and really anything that shows a complete and utter lack of regard for anyone else. Self absorbed people make me mad. I am very understanding about children, the elderly, and anyone who needs extra time and some leeway.
When ppl try to get on an elevator before others exit. ?
Also- if I hold the door open for you, plz catch it. I hate when I offer the door to the person behind me and they assume I will stand there to hold the door. Do your part.
People who don’t use good cell phone manners, people who park their grocery carts against curbs instead of walking them to the cart return or back to the store, people who don’t hold the door for people right behind them.
Folks who take their sweet time to pull out of their parking spot at Costco or another busy place on a busy morning. Especially if someone is already waiting for them! Load your loot and move on!
