Public transportation

Ya, Berkeley would be UCB, UCSB is Santa Barbara :)

There’s probably other ways to do this, but plugging it into Amtrak, you’d either ride the Pacific Surfliner train from UCSB, get off at the Van Nuys station, and then take an Amtrak bus from the Van Nuys station to the Westwood- UCLA one. Alternately, for 5 bucks cheaper, sometimes, you can take the 11 Coast Starlight, which, I’m not sure if it’s a train or bus. Looks like train. Either way, same deal, get off at the Van Nuys station.

I can probably look up other options with metrolink and greyhound, but this’ll cost you 27.50 each way, which is really not bad considering. In order to book the tickets yourself/find some that work for your schedule, go on the Amtrak website and make sure you put those fields- the from station is “Santa Barbara, CA (SBA)” The to is, “Los Angeles - Westwood (UCLA) - Bus Stop, CA (WES)” .

Hope this helped! :)

Oh, and it’ll run you about 3 hours each way, which also is not bad for public transportation.
