Perhaps they know the demand for CS and feel they donā€™t need to spend the merit money to attract accepts.

Son got into his first choice ā€œGame Development and Designā€. Lucky for us, not many students compete for that major. His UW GPA is around 3.7. SAT is 1510.

My son got in, FYE, oos asian male, 1570/36/4.0, honorā€™s college, and presidential merit award at 10k/year. Very happy.

General trend seems to be no scholarships for CS acceptances. Would there be any further award release decisions or pretty much done here? My S other college decision letters had the merit mentioned in them

Congrats! I donā€™t know yet since my daughter is still in school. It seems like that the handwritten letter meant something after all
