I go to a Singapore owned private hospital (albeit not in Singapore nor in the US). The service is fantastic, they email the complete reports as soon as the results are available, and say to make an appointment if there is anything I want to discuss.
I pay cash, but it is not expensive, certainly not compared to the numbers being quoted on threads like this.
