<p>My daughter is spending her junior year abroad and is enjoying the experience. Mt. Holyoke provides support through its study abroad program. Getting use to Mt. Holyoke was a bit of a challenge for her. We live in the southwest and the climate/people were different. She made the adjustment well and has enjoyed the academic experience. She has also enjoyed the diverse student body. For a more varied social life she and her friends went to Amherst and Boston. While Mt. Holyoke is a challenging academic school it also a caring school. When her grandfather died last year the school supported her through that trying time. I doubt that many other school would have been so good.</p>
