<p>Personally, I like semesters because there is less testing, less time wasted on scheduling/registrations and making payments, and sometimes less time/money spent on books/materials. However, if you get a bad professor, you are stuck with him for a longer time, and even if you drop the class, you may have fewer options about when you can retake it if needed.</p>
