Quebec in Late September -Suggestions

@alwaysamom, thanks. Fun link. It looks like we may be on the early side, but we don’t like to ride bikes when it’s too cold. It should be fun no matter what.

Sorry, just saw the question about whale watching, but it looks like others have responded. We were there in the spring - I wouldn’t know without researching if some seasons are better than others. I do hope there may be some fall colors you can enjoy; that would be spectacular - but green is still impressive with the hills. Have fun!

OP here, back from Quebec. The weather for our trip was pretty good, but the drive home, not so much.
We spent our first full day walking all around Quebec City, and we fit a lot in. We also went back for parts of another couple of days. We saw several waterfalls, which is kind of a thing for me, and did a fair amount of hiking along the way, including St. Anne’s Canyon. We rode our bikes all around ile d Orleans (3 hours, 28 minutes for 42 miles, according to my husband). It was VERY windy for much of the way, and a little chilly (less than 60). We also rode part of the verde rue 5, from the big falls into Quebec City and back. We visited St. Anne’s Church, which was quite impressive. I’m butchering spelling, I’m sure. The leaves were changing, but weren’t at their peak when we were there. All in all, it was a good trip. We didn’t make it to see the whales. We just decided we didn’t want to spend more time in the car. Another success story… My husband and I survived the 13 plus hour trip home together. We had never taken a road trip that long before, and I was a little worried. Thanks to all who made suggestions.

So glad to hear that you enjoy Quebec. Hope you also found the food enjoyable.

We had some awesome food there. We had a pizza with cream sauce, pecans, blue cheese and arugula (maybe some onios too, I can’t remember). It might be the best pizza I ever had.
