<p>I am checking all the places to stay. One of my children works for a upscale hotel chain and I am going to see what discount I can get at that chain. Sometimes it is still cheaper to book elsewhere. The i’le de Orleans looks beautiful.
Figuring out dates using miles is a puzzle in itself. </p>
<p>The mileage tickets are booked. In and out of Montreal. We will have 7 nights the last needing to be in Montreal since our flight home is early. We will rent a car. 2nd week of October. I hope we can still see some good foliage.
I know we will stay several nights each in Quebec City and Montreal. I am considering 1 or 2 nights somewhere else. Ideas are Mount Tremblant or Montebello. Thoughts?
Hotels- I think we will stay at the Queen Elizabeth in Montreal. With a family member discount the rate is beyond inexpensive. Still looking for Quebec the Frontenac even with a discount is pretty expensive.
Mount Tremblant or Montebello would be Fairmonts if the price is right. </p>
