Celita I’m not sure about the number. It was a pure guess, but since there probably are 1600 people who ranked colleges, I’m sure at least a third of them are considering stanford.

Are there numbers available on total applicants this year and number of finalists? I was thinking that there may be a slight uptick on the total number of finalists.

Excellent article on the founder and origin of Questbridge. Some insight into philosophy of Questbridge ,stats for comparison. Another CC poster who’s name escapes me provided this link:[Michael McCullough | Ashoka.org](http://ashoka.org/node/3165) Be sure to click all the tabs above the article to get the full story.

8 days left…

Good luck!

Madville, I haven’t seen any stats for this year, and I suspect they won’t be posted until after the match on the 30th. Suspense is killing my DD, stress is killing me! :)

I cannot start other applications until I know…it really sucks for me :(

Sheed30, DD is completing all other apps over the next 4 days, and then waiting to push “submit” until after the 30th. She does have two more application fee waivers though, so she will go ahead and submit those now. It will be great to have everything done by Sunday, then just the waiting, and waiting and…more waiting!

haha ya i am waiting too because UC apps are due on the 30th :P

:(

I still have to ask all my teachers for Recs for the third time…i’m getting embarrassed

7 more days left…aaaaa!!! I’m losing my mind, I want to know NOW but I’m too sacred to even think about the consequences.

I know. Same here. I don’t care I just wanna go somewhere for college …and it would make my life infinitely more easy if i just got in. 1 more week is too excruciating

7 more days, my columbia app is still not complete…worried

anyway, does anyone know how are our applications read? like, is there an admission officer assigned to a specific region, eg, A is in charge of california, A will read all apps from Cal; B is in charge of NY, etc.?? or do they just read apps from all over the U.S.?

btw, i just had my Yale interview, it was great!! I love how Yale handle things so speedy

OUt of curiosity, did anyone rank Scripps, Pomona, or Claremont McKenna College?

And a tip: it’s best if you don’t wait until the day of to submit applications, especially if they’re online. UC and Cal State applications websites are notorious for shutting down the day they’re due.

Good Luck!

Hey did anyone receive anything else from Princeton besides the first email which notified you that your application was complete?

No, all I got from Pton was that email.

I only got the first email from Princeton as well.

What about Stanford? I haven’t gotten anything from them.

I haven’t gotten anything from them and I haven’t even gotten recognition of receiving my application from Chicago which realllly scares me since we only have 6 days till decision comes out.

Sheed, I think you’ve put everything into QB given all that you’ve posted. GL.

“Princeton University has received your application and opened a file
for you. Once we have opened and logged in all of the mail, if any
required forms are missing, we will send you a note to let you know what is
missing. When we have received all of the required forms, we will
notify you that your application is complete.”

That’s all I got from princeton. But… it seems some other people got an “Application Complete” email.

This is worrying me…oh my.

I got that email November 5th, followed by this one November 11th:
“Your application for admission to Princeton University is complete, and we look forward to reading it.”

Perhaps you should contact them.

You would recommend calling them to ask them about my app status?

D got the “application is complete” email also on November 7th Celita.
