<p>I ended up talking with my advisor — he said that he forgot to reply to my e-mail and so he called me up to apologize and to discuss what I could do. He said that Mat Sci 220 was good for me (but I don’t like the idea so I ditched it … i’m leaning more on comp sci b/c it fits me alot better than aero), EECS 203 (he said it would help with comp sci and it’d be a good class since I’m strong in math), and Econ 101/102. </p>
<p>I ended up choosing to start my humanities sequence (econ) and I’m starting with Econ 101 next semester with Gerson, then following the sequence 101 -> 102 -> 401 -> 402. What do you guys think (btw is Gerson any good?) </p>
<p>About the EECS 203 … why did my advisor tell me to choose this class? Wouldn’t EECS 182 be better since it does intro programming … Python … it seems interesting and the grading doesn’t seem too harsh. Wouldn’t it be better if I did EECS 182 –> 203 (Discrete Math)?</p>
