Have you taken a course equivalent to UCB English R1A? (Or have any applicable AP or IB credit?)
(Also, other UCs and CSUs may have different equivalencies.)
In terms of IGETC, have you asked the IGETC person at your CC (which is?) whether you currently have IGETC areas 1A and 1B (for UC; you also need area 1C for CSU) fulfilled, or which course you need to take in addition to fulfill those IGETC areas?
