For 2014-15, IU changed their “automatic” scholarship program so that it is no longer based on a straight formula of GPA and SAT/ACT score. So while you are likely to get some $$$ for the IU Achievement Scholarship (assuming you are out-of-state), I’m not sure if you would get the max of $11K. With your stats you would also have a good chance of getting a Hutton Honors scholarship of $1-6K, like leftoright’s son. This would be in addition to the IU Achievement Scholarship. Just be sure to apply to IU early, so you don’t miss any deadlines. The Kelley Scholars program is VERY competitive, especially for out-of-state students. In fact, according to this article, ALL of the 2013-14 Kelley Scholars are from Indiana:
[Indiana University announces 2013-14 Kelley Scholars: IU News Room: Indiana University](<a href=“Indiana University announces 2013-14 Kelley Scholars: IU News Room: Indiana University”>Indiana University announces 2013-14 Kelley Scholars: IU News Room: Indiana University)
But it is 100% certain you won’t be a Kelley Scholar if you don’t apply, so go for it! The Kelley Scholar program is based on much more than just GPA and test scores, though.
