<p>D-- deferred from harvard. i now wish that i had applied early to yale or stanford cuz they defer a LARGE PART of their non-acceptees, so you can sorta see where you stand among the applicants. as a deferree, i don’t know if i’m just outside of the 900 that were accepted, or im just ahead of the 100 few who were denied, out of 4000+</p>

<p>When you say “they” do you mean Harvard? Cuz Yale definitely doesn’t defer much compared to Harvard. Yale rejected 33% of the kids who applied early. Harvard basically deferred everyone they didn’t take, give or take a 100 or so.</p>
