<p>A “section” —meaning the main lecture or class would be taught by a full Professor then the class may break into smaller sections for discussions etc. and those smaller classes might be led by a TA. Some students prefer this since they get more than one teacher/approach and the TAs are often young and may at times be better than the Prof. depending on the class.</p>
