My daughter lived in Tower C last year as a freshman and really liked it. Granted, it was her first choice, but she made many close friends there and will be living with them in her second year. The nice thing about Tower C is that all of the rooms are singles–everyone leaves their doors opens those first few days so that friends are made easier. Everyone is in the same boat.

Not sure about the quiet floors, however. She lived on Floor 13 and everyone was very respectful of each other.

Regarding Wifi–although everyone likes it, it’s just too spotty with some many people in one place (I’m sure Pitt could remedy this by putting more routers in place). My D ended up with a 25 ft ethernet cable (we brought this from home) and it worked out very well. The room is not big at all, so the 25ft cable allowed her to sit on the bed with her laptop, instead of just sitting at her desk.
