I assume you are asking about the summer programs. Here is a link:

[Summer Programs](http://cty.jhu.edu/summer/summer-programs.html)

In order to enroll in CTY courses, you need to have taken a qualifying test (eg, SAT, ACT) and have scores above a certain level. I am pretty sure you can’t use the PSAT. The cutoffs for scores are different for the different groupings of courses (so “CTY: Intensive Studies for 7th Graders and Above” has higher scores required than “CTY: Academic Explorations for 7th Graders and Above”.

You have missed the regular registration deadline for this year, but late registration is still open. Fewer courses with openings now, and there is some kind of late fee.

The cost is along the lines you mentioned, depends on which program & location. The website shows this info. You can apply for financial aid, although I don’t know much about it (I assume it is strictly need based, though). However, it looks like the financial aid deadline for this year was March 26. You could contact them and ask if it is still possible to apply for financial aid.

Regarding credit, I am not aware that any of the CTY courses are offered for credit. Your school may allow you to move ahead in a subject you have studied at CTY, but that would be up to the individual school. Most kids take them because they are intellectually curious about the subject.
