<p>When you apply online there should be a button to upload your essay as a word document to your application.</p>
<p>As for the Letter of Rec, there may be a form you need to print out and give to your teacher that has instructions on what they need to address in their letter. You should also give them a pre-stamped, pre-addressed envelope to the OAFA at Pitt which they can stick their letter into to mail. I would give this to them as soon as the application opens and ask that they send the letters ASAP. This is possible if you ask them ahead of time to write the letters and say that you can give them mailing documents/etc. on the 20th when it is released. That way, their letter is already written and all they will need to do is fill out the form & mail everything in.</p>
