This is a bit off topic, but did anyone else’s middle or elementary schools give out planners too? We had these notebook-sized holographic ones from 5th-8th grade and teachers would make it mandatory to write in them. There was actually a specific section on the board to copy in to your planner daily. Some teachers would even make parents sign the bottom of the page every week. Also, if you lost your planner, you were forced to pay $5 to get a new one. It was really lame.
