<p>Would you recommend emailing the professor before school starts (like now) to ask him/her which books are needed, etc?</p>
<p>And if what War Chant says happens, where you don’t need the whole book, are all textbooks/books that the classes use available in the USC libraries to check out? Or in the reference section or something?</p>
