Racial diversity at Penn State?

State College is the Alabama of Pennsylvania. The town is white dominated and don’t be surprised if you see a lots of conservative racist hicks and rednecks there.

The campus is more diverse than the town but its nothing to write home about. I wouldn’t consider it white dominated since the white percentage is in the low 70’s. West Virginia University is white dominated which has more than 80% white. No problems should arise inside the campus or in the classrooms but I can’t say anything about the dorms.

If you want African American diversity, look at:
University of Maryland-College Park and Baltimore County
University of Miami
Temple University
Any other historically black colleges

If you want Asian:
University of California-(any)
University of Washington
University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign

If you want all races equally, any top public and private universities. (except the state of California)

PSU has religion buildings(or whatever its called). Have you visited the campus yet ?
