Or, if you wish to take those 2 courses, try to forget all the previous calculus you’ve learned. Really. Because otherwise you’ll feel like you’re wasting your time at first, though in many cases, it really isn’t a waste of time, as a number of students just didn’t learn calculus properly and don’t actually understand it (though they have memorized a number of basic formulae), so they get burned from the midterm onwards.</p>
