<p>US News rankings have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with academic rigor. </p>

<p>To the OP: I would suggest that you familiarize yourself with the ranking system before drawing erroneous conclusions about what it is intended to show. I don’t believe that US News even considers factors related to academic standards or rigor.
