School Ideas: Undergrad CS/AE and wants Robotics. Give suggestions for schools

Hi,

4.0 GPA. Taken 7 APs so far (not counting APs in senior year). I live in Connecticut and don’t have a preference for location. 32 on ACT, am retaking for a higher score.

I want to major in computer science and my backup major is aerospace engineering. Specifically, I want a school which will give me good exposure to robotics at the undergrad level. I plan to pursue a graduate degree in robotics. I’m also looking for a school where I can get some exposure to business/entreprenuership.

I don’t have a preference on school size. Another huge factor for me is financial aid. I will need it. Idk my family’s EFC yet. I know out of state public schools won’t give me great financial aid offers. Hopefully I can make up for it with merit scholarships.

Specifically, I want some discussion about the following schools:

UMich
UIUC
USC (University of Southern California)
Michigan State
UW-Madison
University of Pittsburgh
UMass Amherst
Brown University (open curriculum)
Princeton University
Boston University

No robotics at undergrad level is not a deal breaker at all. I’m looking for a school that’s focused on technology/engineering and less on liberal arts/general education. One of my biggest factors is also employability after graduation and the quality of career fairs. I want big companies at the career fairs at my school. A city environment can help with this but not necessary.
