I see.
What exactly are your standards for judging a schedule? I’m curious.

well probably what people go off of is math first then sciences and then you calibrate it based off of the level theyre taking it at as compared with others

@LoudPhantom

AP Chem and Physics are absolute insanity. But the fun kind!

ALSO:
@BernieMadoff
Just take a deep breath, no need to get your knickers in a twist–this is just some random poster’s assessment of the academic rigor of your schedule. S/he doesn’t know what kind of math track your school offers, or what’s par for the course in your school. My schedule pales in comparison with that of a lot of posters on this thread, but is far, far beyond what anyone else at my school has ever attempted–if the person who rated mine were from my school, I’d probably have an 11 or 12; if the person were from Exeter or Andover…I’d probably scrape a 6 or 7.

-Senior Second Semester-

Calculus
AP Eng. Lit.
AP Biology
French 3
Symphonic Band 2

Block schedule btw.

Sent from my SPH-D700 using CC App

Freshman

AP Biology
AP Human Geography
Gifted 9th Grade Language Arts
Gifted Geometry
Gifted Spanish II
Health/PE

Hey because of the little fight between Bernie Madoff and Stormyshadow nobody ever actually rated my schedule. Also for hobbitTon thats a 10 because you are a freshman. Keep up the good work and you’ll be great by junior/senior.

Junior:
AP US History
AP English Language
Honors Precalculus
Honors Spanish IV
Honors English 11 (req’d)
AP Comparative Gov/Pol (Self-Study)

Senior:
AP English Literature
AP Calculus BC
AP Spanish Literature
AP European History
Honors Physics
Honors American Government

Only allowed 2 AP’s junior and 4 AP’s senior…

@LoudPhantom Ceilings on AP classes per year are blasphemy.
Junior: Have fun with the self-study. Your classload is fine for this year.
Senior: Spanish Lit? You must be extremely talented at Spanish. AP Euro is fun times :)

Junior:
AP Eng Lang
AP Chem
Wind Ensemble
Honors Physiology
APUSH
Honors Precalc
AP Physics C: Mechanics

Senior:
AP Eng Lit
AP US Gov
AP Physics B
AP Calc BC
AP Psych
Wind Ensemble
Honors Advanced Anatomy

I’d give your junior schedule a 10…physics and chem together is insane and thats a lot of AP for junior year, especially with two other challenging honors courses. I’d say 8.5 or 9 for senior, because I’m wondering why you would take AP Physics B after already taking C? Seems like a waste to me. Also, AP psych is pretty easy I’ve heard. But still a great schedule. Posting mine again, in hopes that someone will actually give it a rating.

Junior:
AP US History
AP English Language
Honors Precalculus
Honors Spanish IV
Honors English 11 (req’d)
AP Comparative Gov/Pol (Self-Study)

Senior:
AP English Literature
AP Calculus BC
AP Spanish Literature
AP European History
Honors Physics
Honors American Government

junior: 5 (3 AP classes, but no science at all?)
senior: 7 (because of AP Calc, Spanish, Euro)
Personally, I dislike my spanish classes and don’t find them easy.

“Pre-AP” courses (PAP) are required before AP courses at my school - no AP courses were available to freshmen/sophmores (until this year, but that’s too late for me).

Junior:
AP US Hist
AP Chem
AP Eng III
PAP Pre-cal
PAP Physics
PAP Spanish III
Possibly Self-Study AP Computer Science (I’m not sure I can get everything down before the test)

Senior:
AP Gov
AP Bio
AP Physics
AP Eng IV
AP Calc BC
AP Stat
Adv Eco (AP not available)
^Is this manageable?

It could be…it depends on how your school schedules and if they allow independent studies…it seems like a lot of work! I’d give your schedule a 9.
Will someone please rate my schedule, mine got lost in the fight as well…

Junior:
apush
ap english
ap calculus
latin 3-h
art 3-h
anatomy-h
physics peer tutor

Anyone done self study ap stats or human geography?
Please rate it…

Classes with a * are dual enrollment with Uconn…the number of Uconn courses and the credits are in parenthesis. Unfortunately AP Chem has 2 labs a week and AP calc has one, so I basically loose a period for a class.

Junior (next year)
English 11 (Honors, highest level)
AP Calculus BC* (2 Uconn Classes, 8 credits)
AP Statistics* (1 Uconn Class, 4 Credits)
AP Chemistry* (2 Uconn Classes, 8 Credits)
Spanish 4 (Honors, highest level)
Ad. World Civilizations* (Honors, highest level)(1 UConn class, 3 credits)
Peer Tutoring (Honors, highest level) (I volunteer in my school’s writing center and help students improve their writing. Half of the year is also a class about tutoring)

Also planning on taking Psychology at UConn (4 credits) first semester, but signups aren’t open yet.

Bakere- it’s good you’re taking ECE!
I’d say that’s a good schedule.

All of my ECE classes are worth two semesters at UCONN (two classes, like English 101 and 102)

Senior year schedule.
** means dual credits with UCONN’s early college experience (ECE) program

AP Psychology (not sure if it’s ECE)
AP Calc bc**
AP English**
AP Physics**
Honors Foreign Policy/International Relations. (told that we are one of VERY few schools in CT that have this.)
My school doesnt offer any other APs that I haven’t taken except bio and Chem. Chem is offered at the cross town school, so I’d have to give up three periods to go there and travel time (its mandatory to give up three periods.)
And I don’t like bio. And my Chem honors teacher is having a baby (AGAIN! last year I only had her for five months at the end.) I’d only take Chem with her, but it’s not offered anyway.

That’s a really challenging schedule. Good luck, man.

Junior '13

AP English Lang
AP Calc AB
APUSH
Honors Chem
AP Psych
Banking III
Spanish IV Honors
Driver’s Ed / Marketing II Independent Study

9/10

nice schedule

Junior year(next year)

AP Calculus AB
AP USH
AP Lang
Physics CP(My school has no Physics honors and the AP Physics program at my school SUCKS)
Spanish III
Teacher Aide(Not final on this)

I’m a girl
I also self studied a class too, and had 3 APs this year along with that. You should do fine. But remember to devote equal time to the self study class as you would your other classes. It’s easy to fall behind.

~HS '12er

Lakersince95: 8/10. Looks good.

Junior for me,
AP USH
AP Physics B
AP Bio
AP Eng Language
AP Spanish
AP Calc BC

And, yeah, hell no to self-studying any APs for me next year.

Junior (next year)
AP U.S. History
AP Chemistry
AP English language
AP psychology
Honors Pre-calc
French 5/6

8.5

I’m going to post my not-set-in-stone schedule for next year.

Junior Year
Semester 1:
Spanish1 (language wasn’t provided at the school i went to freshman year & i didn’t get in this year)
AP English
AP Psych
Algebra 2 (i am HORRIBLE at math)

Semester 2:
APUSH
Chemistry (I am awful at science and then you throw math in there ? ***)
Spanish 2
Criminalistics

Hahah i hope my schedule makes you feel better about yours (as in yours is so much better than mine xD )

7.

I have a feeling I’m gonna got a really low rating for my potential Senior schedule for next year…
AP Language and Comp
AP Psychology
AP Environmental Science
UW 113 Japanese (Practically an AP class; it’s literally a college class offered in high school)
Pre-Calculus
Video Production/Digital Photography

^seems like ~6.5ish since your APs might be seen a “slacker APs” but idk, it really depends on the context of your school and what your GC says about your courseload, so if you are challenging yourself you’ll be fine :)

oh and @feedback411: sorry they skipped you, looks like ~9.5 =)

senior schedule next year:
-AP English Lit
-AP Euro
-AP Calc BC (might drop into AB if the workload is too much)
-Honors International Relations
-Accelerated French
-Peer Mentoring
-Bioethics
-Chorus
