9! It looks awesome! A lot of strong classes (I love AP lang!) and the wind ensemble adds the perfect balance!

My Senior Year (I’m a junior now):
AP Lit
AP Euro
AP Psych
AP French or French 5 (our school is debating whether to offer AP french or not, not my choice… college admins says it won’t make a difference since I can’t do anything about it)
Honors Pre-Calc
Honors Physics
Top Choir- “Chorale”
Theory of Learning

:D It’s not too hard for your senior year, but it’s not a slack schedule either.

I’m a sophomore now, and I’m taking:
Algebra II/Trig
AP Art History
Chemistry
Honors English 10
AP Euro
Health/Pe (required)
Psych 1/2

And next year for my junior year I’m taking:
Math Analysis (my schools equivalent to pre-calc)
Virginia Teachers for Tomorrow (you get to intern at a school for a quarter and it’s a really fun class. and you get college credit.)
AP English 11
AP US
AP Environmental
AP Psych
AP Computer Science

9.5-10, because you have 5 APs for a junior, which is a lot, and 2 of them are AP sciences requiring a lot of work.

Senior Year (Almost done!!!)
Prayer & Spirituality (Catholic School…required, semester 1)
Senior Leadership (theology, semester 2, again- required)
AP Calculus AB
AP English Lit
AP Euro
AP Spanish Lang
AP Psych (self-study)

(also very busy with piano because I did college auditions this year to be a music major, gone a lot)

^Interesting how so many students on CC are in schools that allow freshmen to take AP! My school doesn’t. Also, I wish we had those pre-AP/pre-IB classes as freshmen; my school is behind on that I think.

AP Chem
AP US hist
AP English Comp
Span 4 honors
Anat and phys Honors
Pre-calc

Seriously tons of these classes aren’t even offered at my school. Do you really think you need to have some absurd number of AP/IB courses just to get into college? I’ve known Ivy Leaguers with much less.

^If you look through this thread, among many other threads on CC, there are some people who are taking 4-6 APs at school plus 1-5 AP as self-study, and those are the ones who are either crazy, or just like super geniuses. But your schedule is good.

My point for the AP stuff is not that I was worried about getting in- I just wanted lots of college credits done ahead of time.

Sophomore Schedule
(Acc=Honors/Accelerated. There is only 1 AP class open to Sophomores)
Acc.Algebra 2
Acc. English 2
Acc. World Civilizations
Acc. Chemistry
AP Biology
French 2
Latin 2

Self Study: Spanish, European History, Religion, and Cognitive Neuroscience (throught MIT)

I really want to go to Vanderbilt. Is this a good start?

Junior:
AP Euro History
AP English Lang
IB/AP Chemistry
Honors Pre-calculus (I know, I know! I’d take precalc over the summer to take AP AB, but the option is not available)
IB Spanish (my fifth year)
IB Psych or Theatre (haven’t made up my mind yet…)
Theory of Knowledge (required IB course)

Along with AP Computer Science and AP US Government/Politics (taking online).

Tack that onto CAS hours, Extended Essay, ECs (I have my fingers crossed for academic team…), and life in general and you have me.

Hrmmm… That’s freaking pro! May the force be with you. (I’d say “Godspeed” when it comes to these things, but it starts a whole bunch smehehe that I don’t wanna start.)

Junior:
AP English Compostion
AP US History
AP Statistics
Honors Physics

I have no life, especially when adding times for me to study for the state tests, ap tests, finals, SATs and ACTs.
