@abdesigns 9/10
@HelloThereHola 8/10
My upcoming sophomore schedule:
Dual Enroll American History 1 (Fall)
Dual Enroll American History 2 (Spring)
PLTW Human Body Systems Honors
Dual Enroll English Composition 1 (Fall)
Dual Enroll English Composition 2 (Spring)
AP Physics 1
AP Psychology
AP Chemistry
@ZealousScholar I’d give your schedule a 9.5 on the rigorous schedule, or as I call it, the rigor-o-meter! :))
Here’s my schedule, go ahead and be as brutally honest as possible! I’m a junior, BTW.
- = Weighted
Engineering Explorations 1/Robotics
+PLTW Principles of Engineering
+AP Chemistry
U.S. and Virginia History
+Functions/Trigonometry (Pre-Calculus)
Spanish 2
+AP English Language and Composition
I’m definitely a STEM kind of guy, if you don’t already know!
Also, this was my sophomore year schedule:
Computer Math
Pre-AP English 10
Pre-AP World History
Spanish 1
Pre-AP Chemistry
Algebra 2
Health and PE 1
All class were unweighted.
(For the person rating my schedule, please rate both my sophomore and junior year schedules. Thanks!)
Oh, what the hell. Might as well get my senior schedule rated too.
This schedule is, at this point, only projected:
- = Weighted
- +PLTW Engineering Design and Development OR Engineering Analysis and Applications 2/Robotics (Unweighted)
- +AP Psychology OR Pre-AP Spanish 3
- Physics 1 OR +AP Physics 1
- U.S. and Virginia Government
- AP Calculus AB
- AP Economics (AP Micro/Macroeconomics)
- English 12
My sophomore year GPA was a 3.77 UW.
(For the person rating my schedules, please rate them honestly!)
- No AP English? :p
- AP Calc BC
- AP French Language and Culture
- Genetics
- College Level English and Composition
- AP Government and Politics
- Psychology (School doesn't offer AP, except for online, which is basically a joke)
8
Junior
Weight Training
Physics 1 Honors
Criminal Justice Operations 3
AP U.S. History
Pre-calculus Honors
AP English Language & Composition w/ digital edge
AP Capstone Seminar
8.5
Here’s my schedule for next year:
Junior Year
- = Weighted
Engineering Explorations 1/Robotics
+PLTW Principles of Engineering
+AP Chemistry
U.S. and Virginia History
+Functions/Trigonometry (Pre-Calculus)
Spanish 2
+AP English Language and Composition
@ak2018
I’d say an 8/10 because though your science classes seem super interesting + in depth + advanced, math is only pre-calc & spanish is just 2! (Not sure if that’s because of your school though!)
Junior year:
AP Chem
AP World History
Multivariable calc
AP English
Scientific independent study class
AP Spanish
Computer science class about algorithms idk the name!
7- good amount of AP classes
Senior schedule
AP physics
AP lit
AP comp science
AP us gov/ economics
Foundations of medicine
Free period
- I took five AP classes last year and have never had a free period until this year. This is like my "gift" to myself as a senior ha :)
@hyperbola Pre-Calculus, at my school, is usually one math course above where most juniors are. Spanish 2 is because I was in a foreign country freshman year and didn’t take a foreign language.
@FuturePeriod17 8.5
I apologize in advance for my nitpicking. Even as a senior, I personally wouldn’t take free periods. You could take an easier class, if you want. That Foundations of Medicine class kind of sounds like an underclassmen class. Other than that, you’re good and have a good number of APs.
@Futuremed17 Look at post above. ^
@ak2018 thanks for the input! The foundations of med class actually requires at least a B in AP Bio as well as 2 other science credits so it’s pretty much all upperclassmen
English 11
US History
Theater 2
Honors physics
AP calc AB
AP Bio
AP computer science principles
I can understand not taking APUSH, but I would highly recommend taking AP Lang, especially to get the freshmen credit out of the way.
This was my junior year schedule:
French 3
APUSH
AP Stats
AP Physics C
AP English Lang
Advanced Choir
This will be my senior year schedule:
AP Java
AP Gov (or AP Euro, or Philosophy, depending on how the master schedule works out)
AP BC Calc
AP Chem
AP English Lit
Advanced Choir
I’m also president of Math Team, volunteer tutor 2 hours a week, and volunteer grade papers for 2 hours a week.
I already know 2 programming languages and AB Calc and Honors Chem were easy for me, so I’m hoping this won’t kill me too much…
My school wants to limit everyone to 3 AP classes a year but I am fighting this.
Junior: 9.5/10
Senior: 10/10
This is my junior schedule:
US History
Zoology/Genetics
+Claculus
AP English Lang and Comp
AP Spanish Lit
AP French
@roymesac 8.5
You could’ve done APUSH, but it’s fine if you don’t want to, I’m not doing it either. Also, can’t get over the fact that you spelled Calculus wrong and are taking three language APs. :))
@roymesac 8.6/10
Freshman:
HOPE (required PE class)
Freshman Orchestra
Debate 1
Latin 1
Algebra II Honors
Chemistry Honors
English I Honors
8/10- good but not extraordinary
Junior year: (all classes are dual enrollment at a 4 year university)
Fall:
General physics 1 (calc based)
General chem 1
English 201 (advanced composition)
Winter:
Multivariable calc
US History
Modern World Lit
General Physics 2
Spring:
Spanish 3 (103)
20th century African american history
General Physics 3
9/10 - hard for me to rate with the dual enrollment deal…
Senior:
AP Psych
AP Macro
AP Enviro
AP Calc AB
Physics Honors
English Seminar Honors (S1)
Mass Media (S2)
[going easier this year than last year after junior year wrecked my GPA lol]
