@yonceonhismouth 9/10 Your schedule looks decent for a typical AP student in their senior year. But overall, it looks great! I’d like to know how you’re doing in math because I’m contemplating whether or not, I should take BC in my senior year.
Sophomore Schedule:
English 10
Algebra 2
Bible
Adv. Band
Physical Science
Spanish 2
Study Hall
Geography
I go to a small, private, academically-advanced college prep school that offers only 1 ap (Calculus AB). Some of my classes are combo classes (9th & 10th) due to the fact that I go to a fairly small school I recently transferred to. So far I’m enjoying every day of it!
You schedule looks decent, 7/10, since I’m not sure how many honors you could get.
As for how AB is, it’s really tough- I’m kind of struggling. But if you’re good at math, it’s not too bad @inVisiblee
@yonceonhismouth Oh, I forgot to mention, our school doesn’t offer any honors classes. Anyways, I’m doing quite decent on math. I have like a B or a B+. 1st quarter ends in two weeks so… If I set my bars to the max (or develop better study habits) starting tomorrow, I should be able to work my way on earning a grade of an A- or higher.
One more question. Should I take geometry for credits at a community college or home high school since I didn’t take it as a class? Surprisingly, on the entrance exam specifically for the math section, I scored the 79th percentile (75th percentile is passing rate). Instead of being placed for geo, they placed me in alg 2.
@rosedancer Gothic Literature sounds really interesting!! What kind of stuff are you studying for that class?
@TrumpFTW 9/10. That’s a pretty solid schedule; I think I’d be too stressed to handle that much of a workload, though. It’ll for sure look good on your applications!
I’m a junior, and this is my schedule at a private boarding school:
Algebra II
World History
Chemistry
Music (basically just play around with instruments and rhythm and I work on several projects on Audacity on my own)
Creative Writing
English III
Kind of mediocre in my opinion just because the school doesn’t offer any honors or AP courses…
@nblsnrf 8/10 Kind of reminds me of my sophomore schedule at my old school

My school offers the most AP classes in my county (22), but the ones I’m taking aren’t offered so they’ll be online. 300+ in my graduating class at a charter school.
It’ll be my last semester in high school, so I’d like to do something fun and take Chinese (I’ve already taken 4 years of Spanish).
9/10
Dear lord, that’s seriously impressive. Small question: how can you only take one semester of an AP? Or do you just not care about the AP exam at this point?
Semester 1 and 2 are the same, but I’m considering adding a zero period so I can work on an independent animation project.
AP Calc AB
AP Gov/Econ (It’s a block)
AP Latin Vergil
