9/10, I got to private school and taking any AP as a sophomore is a pain so compared to me your good. Also, we’re Mandarin II buddies :).

Sophomore:
English 2(wasn’t able to take honors)
World Societies(no honors offered)
Honors Chemistry
Biology(no honors offered)
Adv. Algebra 2
Mandarin Chinese II
Photography(taking to get graduation requirement)

I know this seems like an extremely easy schedule, but I go to a small, private high school so there aren’t a lot of AP/honors classes offered. The only APs a sophomore could take are AP Language or AP Math, neither of which am I good enough to take.

@ATPmolecule 9/10 Can you take honors for physics or latin and if there is no AP for econ why not sign up for the test youself?

Junior Year Schedule
AP English Language
AP United States History
AP European History

*the college business classes are dual enrollment

Self Studies

AP Microeconomics/Macroeconomics

My school doesn’t offers honors, every class is the equivalent of ‘honors’ since were a small private school! And I may, I don’t know how the class is taught and if it’s taught along the same lines as the AP’s, and I cant self study because of my rigorous soccer schedule for club soccer.

@mizicu yea thanks for the honesty, it sucks my school only offers APUSH and i picked calc over that, but 2 kids got into almost every where(Duke, Northwestern, JHU, Princeton, Cornell, Upenn, CMU , Notre Dame, Rice, USC, UChicago, Dartmouth) except HYMS with only taking AP USH(they both got 3s) in their three years so I’m hoping for the best when i apply

Wow, that seems like a really challenging schedule-10/10!
Okay, it seems as if I’ve finalized my schedule for next year with some minor changes!

My senioritis-infected Senior year sched:

AP Bio/AP Bio
Business Ethics/Philosophy
Written Comp/Contemporary Authors
AP Stats/AP Stats
AP Euro/AP Euro
Western Art/Photography

Don’t be fooled by those “AP” labels; Bio and Stats are a joke since there is rarely homework. I should have signed up for harder classes, as it may have gotten me into a few more colleges, but I regret nothing because I now have a social life and sleep on avg 8 hrs/day.

Bible/Bible
Honors Spanish III/Honors Spanish III
Honors Philosophy/Honors Philosophy
Honors Trig/College Calc I
College English 102/College Economics
College Intro to Law

^7.5/10 How come you’re not doing AP English?

I’m not even going to post my schedule for this (sophomore) year because it’s the biggest joke ever. The only AP class we’re allowed to take is Euro, and I’m stuck in accelerated (Honors) classes, which are all ridiculously easy, till next year.

Next year should be better, though. What do you all think of this?

AP English Lang&Comp (allegedly a joke, but I can’t be sure)
AP Calc BC
Accelerated Spanish 4
Orchestra
AP Psych (I’ve heard this is easy, too)
AP US History
Gym
Accelerated Physics

Also, I’m not allowed to take AP Spanish or any AP sciences till senior year, so keep that in mind. I know Psych isn’t the hardest AP class out there and that I probably should have picked something more challenging, but it was the only one I could convince my counselor to let me add, because all the other ones are reserved for seniors only. Maybe I’ll self-study for one or two more…recommendations?
